Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing a Travel Content Creator who recently received silver play button from Youtube and got his channel officially verified. He is none other than Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman Mukul who is known as ‘Bangali Babu’ in Youtube.
Mahfuzur Rahman Mukul: Thank you for having me!
I’m excited to be here. I’m an occasional Travel Content Creator. Along with my
job at Country’s Largest ICT company Smart Technologies (BD) Ltd., I run a
travel-focused YouTube channel and other social media platforms where I share
my adventures, trips, and experiences from around the world.
Q. That sounds amazing! What inspired you to
become a Travel Content Creator? Was there a specific moment or experience that
sparked this idea?
Mahfuzur Rahman Mukul: Travel has always been my
passion. Exploring new places, meeting different cultures, and experiencing
diverse landscapes have been transformative for me. Initially, I used to
document my trips through photos and journals, but as social media grew, I
realized the power of sharing my experiences with a broader audience. It was
when I received positive feedback and messages from people who found my content
helpful that I realized I could turn this passion into a good travel content
platform and help people through sharing my experiences.
Q. That’s fantastic! It’s incredible how social
media has opened up new opportunities for creators like you. What do you aim to
achieve through your content? Is there a particular message or theme you want
to convey to your viewers?
Mahfuzur Rahman Mukul: Absolutely! My primary
goal is to inspire and educate my audience. I want to show them that the world
is a beautiful place with countless opportunities to explore and learn. I hope
my content encourages people to step out of their comfort zones, embrace
diversity, and develop a deeper appreciation for our planet and its people.
Additionally, I focus on responsible travel practices, such as being
environmentally conscious and supporting local communities.
Q. Responsible travel is indeed essential in
today’s world. Can you share a memorable travel experience that has left a
lasting impact on you, and perhaps, influenced your content creation?
Mahfuzur Rahman Mukul: One of the most impactful
experiences I had was during a visit to a remote village in Thailand. We were
somehow got stuck there at very late night. We were asking for help. The locals
welcomed us with open arms, and I was amazed by their resilience and simplicity
of life. It made me realize how travel can bridge cultural gaps and bring
people closer together. This encounter inspired me to use my platform to
promote cultural exchange, break stereotypes, and highlight the beauty of
lesser-known destinations.
Q. That sounds like a transformative experience.
You are a busy corporate person. What are some of the difficulties you’re
encountering, and how do you overcome them?
Mahfuzur Rahman Mukul: Of course, I manage my
time according to the situation. Definitely job is my first priority. I target
specific seasons for my traveling. Accordingly I plan my calendar of travel
content. Sometime, due to heavy pressure of job, my editing gets hampered and
continuation of content uploading comes under challenges. But, I am very much
used to manage both as per situation keeping job on priority.
Q. Adaptability is certainly a valuable skill
for a Travel Content Creator. On a lighter note, what are some of your favorite
destinations you’ve explored so far, and are there any dream destinations you’d
love to visit in the future?
Mahfuzur Rahman Mukul: Oh, there are so many
favorite destinations! I absolutely loved exploring the breathtaking landscapes
of Kashmir, the rich cultural practice of Bhutan, and the vibrant life of Thailand.
Each place has its unique charm and left a lasting impression on me.
As for dream destinations, I have a long bucket
list! Exploring the heritage sights in Turkey, experiencing the culture of
Gentlemen in New Zealand, and immersing myself in the diverse wildlife of Kenya
are among the top ones. I hope to bring my audience along on these dream
adventures in the future.
Q. Your travel experiences sound incredible, and
I’m sure your audience will be thrilled to follow you on those dream
adventures. Finally, what advice do you have for aspiring Travel Content
Creators who want to embark on a similar journey?
Mahfuzur Rahman Mukul: My advice would be to be authentic and passionate about your content. Find your unique voice and style that sets you apart from others. Stay true to your values and focus on creating content that inspires and resonates with your audience.
Consistency is key, so stay committed to
producing high-quality content regularly. Also, engage with your audience and
build a genuine connection with them. Lastly, remember that success doesn’t
happen overnight. It takes time, effort, and dedication, so be patient and keep
pushing forward.
