Bangladesh banned entry of foreigners

Bangladesh government has banned entry of foreign nationals through all the land ports. On 21 March 2020, the Home Ministry’s Security and Services Department sent this information to concerned departments and officials throughout the country.

Bangladesh has got so many land boarders with India. Many Indians and other nationals use those boarder to enter Bangladesh everyday. After this declaration, only Bangladeshi people who are staying in India right now, might come back to Home through those boarders.

According to a letter signed by the Home Ministry’s Senior Assistant Secretary of Defense and Services, Monira Haq, the recent outbreak of the deadly corona virus has spread to different countries of the world. In this context, no foreign nationals will be able to enter Bangladesh as a precautionary measure to prevent further transmissions inside Bangladesh. This order will remain in force until further notice.
